A clear path from starting point to usable result.
VARKELD uses physical play as a recurring checkpoint. Camera behavior, touch targets, collision and performance can all feel different on a phone than in an editor or desktop preview.
The milestone approach limits how much new world content is added before the current foundation is stable, reducing the places where an early movement or interaction problem can spread.
Controls must remain reachable while leaving room for combat and exploration.
Frame pacing and device constraints are design inputs, not only optimization tasks.
